Sickness and weight loss

So I had been doing great hitting my calories and eating clean and then all of a sudden I got the flu on Monday. Due to being really sick I didn't spend the time needed to cook and eat clean. How much of a impact will those 6 days of not eating right impact my weight loss. I was down 15 pounds and losing quick since Feb.

Well, eating clean has nothing to do with weight loss, it's just the way you prefer to eat. Eating right is whatever way you prefer to eat. I think you'll be fine. Just take care of yourself.

You can't help getting sick so don't worry about the one week. Start back on your plan as soon as you are well.

You may find that your loss has a bit of 'stall' time while your body concentrates (for want of a better word) on just dealing with the infection.....or on the other hand you may find that you lose weight as per usual or a bit faster. Being sick can make weight loss a bit more difficult to predict.

Focus on getting better.....eat foods you find appealing and drink may be even more than usual and rest..... don't push hard on the exercise while you don't feel well, it may make your recovery time longer.

Thanks for the advice, i do feel i put a little weight back on but i chalk it up to being on bed rest and not being able to go to the gym. I didnt pig out by any means just ate foods that i normally would not eat had i been able to cook...
