I work nine hour days and I looked on the app and it says that burns 1500 calories. I don't know if that's the case so I changed it to 500 because I low ball my calories burned. But should I log it at all?

Would it not be easier to change your activity level to active than to guess how many calories you might burn in a day?

I'm a little confused as to why your wanting to log it. When setting up MFP they want you to pick an activity level that includes how active you are at work. The only activity you should log is actual exercise/workouts. Well, I guess the exception to that would be if you spent several hours walking around (like an amusement park or zoo or something) that you don't do on a normal basis.
