I just started my healthy eating and apparently I cant even do that right lol. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I had breakfast, lunch, dinner and 3 snacks and my calorie count still only came to 1183 which it says is too low. I had:

Oatmeal for breakfast with coffee
multigrain taost slice for snack
grilled ckn/broccoli lunch
apple
pork chop/black beans and broccoli for dinner
greek yogurt for snack.

I thought I did well today, can someone tell me what needs to be added for weight loss?
Also, eating all those meals actually made me hungry all day when generally I skip breaksfast and am not hungry at all until 1PM with maybe a small snack.

Oh, and I drank 62 ozs of water (which was extremely hard to do lol

If you were hungry and under your calorie goal why didn't you just eat more? Problem solved!

Seems like it would be a bit higher. Good choices. I think it depends on what the calorie goal is set to... are you aiming for 1200 or higher?

Maybe add some fruit with the oatmeal or peanut butter/almond butter or some type of seeds to add more calories
Yogurt is also good with some fruit or other type of things if you just didn't want it plain

Think everything else looks good. lots of water! Maybe some light exercises? Cleaning, dancing, etc
  • The yogurt had blueberries in it and I actually had peanut butter on the toast. I was trying to stay away from carbs but maybe I need to eat more of them. I drank so much water today I nearly puked.

I think you're missing some healthy fats. Try cooking with olive oil. Good luck!

Maybe more protein? Has been helping me, atleast. Healthy fats would be good too. Love nuts and avocados
  • Thank you for all your replies and good suggestions

If eating breakfast makes you more hungry later, don't eat breakfast. Just eat a bigger lunch and a bigger dinner, or allow yourself more snacks later to hit your calorie goal.

You don't have to change the time you eat. You just have to eat less.
