I'm a low carber...

Hi, i've just recently started using Fitnesspal on a daily basis and I love Fitnesspal, but it concentrates more on calories, not carbs...although it does help me keep up with my carbs also...my question is, when i add a recipe or food to my list, is it telling me the net carbs or total carbs?

    Hi, I just ran a bag of almonds through the MFP bar code scanner and it came back with Net Carbs. I'm a lowcarber too, feel free to add me as a friend!

    Most are listed as total carbs, avoid listings that say Net carbs as most of the time they still list the fiber count and it will throw you off at the end of the day.
    Best plan is to change your settings so your carb and fiber count are beside each other and just do the math on your own to figure out you net carbs

    There's a group of us. Sometimes busy sometimes not so. FWIW, you can change what you track - if you track your fiber, then you can find your net carbs fairly easily.
