I cannot stop binging, and I need help

I am about to be judged, but that is okay because I need help, and I need it now. I am at a healthy weight, and have been in maintenance mode for a couple of weeks. However, recently I have been abusing it. Last week was the beginning. Last thursday night, I bought a package of birthday cake oreos, and ate the whole thing in less than 24 hours, along with some of another pack. I felt the effects( got sick), and said I'd never do it again. saturday was an okay day, and sunday was not terrible either. However... today I woke up, ate a reasonable breakfast (cereal), then ate a decent lunch (ham sandwhich), clementine, and mixed nuts. When I got home from school I decided to go on a run. I ran to the store (1 mile). I saw these berger cookies (I LOVE them). I brought them home swearing I would only eat 2 (there are 8 in a package), and I ended up eating about 6. I threw them out after realizing what I had done, but soon found another issue. I had a whole pack of golden birthday cake oreos that my parents had bought, and it was in the pantry. Something happened, and I couldn't contain myself. I ate about half of the package, and now I know something isn't right. I have never acted like this (abused food before), and I don't know the problem. I need help. I can't gain weight, and I need to stop this. Please, only kind responses!

    I went through this as well about 2 years ago. I lost 30lbs and had gotten to my "ideal" weight. It was right before I turned 21 and on my birthday, I just ate and started not caring. I would have good days and bad days and eventually this turned into almost a 2 year thing until last February when I finally decided to lose the weight I gained. 50lbs. I had gained 50lbs in two years cause I stopped caring and just wanted to eat whatever. So I know how you feel and I know the repercussions of this if you continue. So I have learned something this past two months. I have lost almost 20lbs but I have learned moderation. And I know that is easier said than done but the best way to look at it is, if you want a cookie have one. Or an oreo, have a couple. But just remember to put them away. Meanwhile, if you have those chocolate cravings, find something to subside the cravings till the next day. That way by the next day you can have another cookie or a couple oreos. One thing I have found that helps with cravings is Jello or VitaTops for sweet low cal snacks. And popcorn for a salty low cal option. And if you continue to be hungry, try to find another healthy option. I snack on grapes as well as red peppers. And lean proteins help keep you full. And just remember to log it. Even during a maintaining phase, log what you eat. It will help you stay on track. Maintaining is harder than the loosing portion of your process. (At least in my opinion) but be happy you made it this far and keep going! Hopefully these help and If you have any other questions, let me know!
  • Man I have been there binging I was down to an awsome weight I was ****ing buff a car accident caused depression and alot of bing eating now I am 60 lbs.heaven it's a hard cycle to break. What helps me break the cycle is when you feel the pounding behind your eyes saying I need this I need this replace it. Running works for me. P's add me to friends list if you want
