I had been "meaning" to lose weight, but it's so easy to put it off. My boyfriend (now fiance!) proposed on Saturday, the 18th. We were talking about the best date for us, and because of our college schedules, we chose March 5, 2011 which is the start of Spring Break. I'm so excited! I was expecting a proposal, so I have a lot of my planning done... thank goodness. I have the church and colors picked out, as well as the perfect dress.

To make a long(er) story short, I am using this life changing event to change my eating habits now. I've dieted and lost significant amounts of weight, but always gained it back with more added. This time, I'm changing my eating habits for good. I'm changing my life for good. I will not be at my long-term goal by March, but I know if I can lose enough to feel better about myself in my perfect dress, and on the wedding night... :)
