Alternatives to Jumping Jacks

My roommate and I started doing Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred 7 days ago (tomorrow will be day 8), and it's fabulous! We both are already seeing results. This is our problem: we have neighbors below us in our apartment complex, and no matter how quiet we try to be, they complain about the "stomping around" when we work out. We've narrow down the exercises from Level 1 and determined that the only one that could be causing the problem is Jumping Jacks. So, for the sake of our neighbors sanity, does anyone have and alternatives (preferable of comparable intensity) that we could do instead of Jumping Jacks, that wouldn't cause so much "banging around." Thanks in advance!

You could squat and raise up to almost your tippy toes while bringing your arms down and raising up with the movements, I had to do the same thing...same reason
just keep good form and work your way up on the speed

I step alternately out to each side whilst lifting my arms up for jumping jacks - seems to wear me out just as much as leaping around!0

Wait til you get to part three, its all jumping. Maybe explain its only a half hour to your neighbours and ask them when is a good time to be noisy?0
