chicken soup easy n fast
1 tbs of butter
1 small onion chopped
1 c of celery chopped { 3 stalks}
1 c of carrots chopped {2-3 carrots
1 tsp of garlic powder or 1 clove chopped fine your choice
6 c of chicken broth........48oz
1 c of water
1/2 teas of paprika
2 c cooked rice
2 c of rotisserie chicken or yours your choice easy with store one......if in a hurry skinned n boned
2tbs of parsley fresh chopped or bottle your choice
melt butter in 6 quart sauce pan or 4 which ever one u have over med heat and onions celery carrots garlic until onions r tender add chicken broth water paprika cook for 10 mins stirring once in a while stir in chicken rice parsley cook for 8 mins season to taste ......200 cals

Your recipe sounds wonderful, I'll have to try it, I love chicken soup! As an aside, I've been roasting chickens whole, thanks to a recipe from Thomas Keller, one of the greatest chefs in the USA:

This is unbelievably easy to do, it only takes a few minutes, and will produce a beautifully moist, succulent chicken with a minimal amount of effort, it couldn't be any easier, and great if you're looking to meet your protein goals. Bon appetit!
(BTW, if you're ever in Beverly Hills and have a chance to eat at his restaurant "Bouchon", go for it! It's a little on the expensive side, but absolutely worth it!)0 -
