The math doesn't seem to be working... any thoughts?

Hi! If anyone has any ideas...
I've been using MyFitnessPal for over a year now and have been religious about entering my food and exercise daily for the last 12 weeks. I haven't lost any weight even though I've been averaging about 3000 calories below what it would normally take for me to maintain my weight per week (technically I should have lost roughly 9 lbs so far).
I'm within the sugar/fat/protein/carb ranges that I need to be. I've taken up running 3 x's a week for the last three weeks, and have done circuit training off and on, along with a ton of walking.
I wouldn't worry about it much, but I'd like to be "fit" as opposed to "average" on the BMR - I've completely given up on being a "healthy" BMI, since it's been telling me I'm beyond obese since I graduated from high school. I'm 5'4" and about 188lbs and have a hip-to-waist ratio of .68. I'd love to drop about 20 lbs, if at all possible.
Any thoughts/tips/help would be very much appreciated!
Thanks,

Do you weigh, measure, or eyeball food portions?
How are you determining your calories burned from exercise?
Have you been tested for thyroid issues or PCOS?
Are you taking measurements?
About how many calories are you eating?
Are you following MFP's method or TDEE method or something else?0 -

So what are they ? (you're diary is closed)0 -
Well if the 'math' is not working then your calculations are not correct. You are eating more than you burn off or you are eating right on that amount. Simple as that.0

It might be how you set your lifestyle when setting up your account. Being an active person, I of course started out with my profile set to "very active", however I still added my excersizes for more calories. This didn't work so well. I changed my setting to lightly active and continued adding my excersizes and that's when I started seeing good results.
If you have a pretty consistent workout routine, then using one of the active settings and not adding your excersizes on top of that could be a good option, but personally I like keeping my baseline set to lighter activity and then enttering in my excersizes as I do them. For one thing I do a wide range of activities, and for another it is nice to be able to treat myself on a day when i have worked out extra hard.0 -
If its not adding up either the figures are wrong or your weighing and measuring isn't as accurate as you think. Your diary is not open so no one can look to see if there is anything obvious. No matter what if you not losing your not eating at a deficit.0
