Can I ask everyone, how many calories a day do you eat without eating exercise calories, thanks
I try to stick to the 1200 calories a day plus I eat at least half of my exercise calories as well, just wondered what everyone else did.

I eat about 2000 calories, more if I work out. But I'm slowly going in maintenance. I've never eaten less than 1300kcal because it's just not enough for me, I'm a 5'10" and have 155lbs (but I started at 210lbs) so with having this much weight I wouldn't survive with 1200kcal0

1500 net0

1300 +/- 3000

I'm about the same 2000 cals. but I've stopped logging for a week or so as I'm not too concerned over the weight loss, just redistribution of it. 1200 cals always sounded very low to me too. It would leave me feeling constantly tired. But we are all different so I do hope its working for you, and you are eating back some of the cals burnt.0

I eat 2500 + exercise calories in order to maintain. I was netting 1800-2000 when losing.0

1500 until I was within 5lbs of my goal. 1600 now, its spring and I am more active so I bumped a bit.0

I eat 1500-1600 with exercise but make sure i never, ever net below 1200.0

I started at 1750 and kept dropping a little at a time. Currently on 1410. Intend to bump to 1500 shortly.0

I eat 1600 to 1700 per day whether I exercise or not. Losing about 2lbs per week.
I was as low as 1200 but found I could not recover from exercise well at that level. So I slowly increased to where I am now. I am still losing and I feel much better.0 -
My goal is 1320 and I eat back approximately half of my exercise calories on top of that.0

Age, height and type of work/lifestyle people have will result n a huge variation. I'm 5.7, 58 years old and retired - with only myself and my hubby to look after. I stick to 1200 + around half of my exercise calories (use mfp exercise data so understand it's not accurate). If I get really hungry (very rarely) I will eat a few more but try and make sure those extra are nutrient dense. I do allow myself a glass of wine and a smallish piece of chocolate most days.0

I aim to net between 2000-2100 and lose!0

For the last 3 months my average comes out at about 1900 gross, im currently losing about 1.6 pounds a week.0

I eat around 1800-2000 calories a day.0

I'm on 1400+, I eat back 50-75% of my exercise calories.
On week 5 and have lost 3 kg (about 6.5lbs). I started out on 1200 on week 1 then upped it to 1300 on week 2 then upped again to 1400 on week 3. I've only lost the 3kg in the last 2-3 weeks.
I'm 28 and 5'9 with a desk job.0 -
I eat between 1500/19000

Between 1300_1500. I have a few meals a week I eat whatever and I don't count those. 13 weeks into my journey and 28 pounds down.0

I eat 1610 but that usually nets me well below 1200 with all the exercise I do so I have been attempting to eat more so my net is above 1200 but honestly I can't eat all that food! I'm stuffed to the brim when I try to net 1200!0

My net calorie goal is 1450. I typically eat around 1400-1450, burn 200-250 per day, and save my exercise calories for the weekend. So, I DO eat them back, just not the day I burn them. Works out quite nicely for me.0

I eat around 2000-2100, but I use TDEE, not the adding exercise calories method.0
-
I eat 1200 plus all my exercise calories. I don't use MFP estimates for exercise calories though, I calculate them offline. I'm 51 years old, 5'6", and I've lost average 1.4 pounds a week over the last 16 weeks.0

5'3" and about 130-135 lbs. I recently switched to the TDEE - 20% method, so I am now eating 1900 calories per day (and not eating back exercise calories, since that's already built in). So far, I feel great... lots of energy to get my workouts in, and I don't go to bed feeling hungry. I haven't been doing this long enough to see if there are any results on the scale (or via the tape measure), though.0

1000, and yes I know I'm not supposed to eat less than 1200 but I cannot lose any weight on a 1200 calorie program. I am losing about 1/2 to 3/4 lb a week and it is pretty steady. I have lost 12.8 lb since I started and have 5 to go. I am 65 and 5'3"0

Was eating around 1450 calories plus exercise calories on top of that, but now I eat 1700 calories regardless of whether or not I exercise that day.
I exercise 5 out of 7 days a week usually, so this evens out my average exercise calories out over the week. It equates to about the same, except now I don't struggle on the 2 days I don't exercise. There's no chance I would ever drop to 1200 calories, imho there's just no need.0 -
I am in the losing stage, just started. I am allowed 2640 calories a day in order for me to lose 2 lbs per week. You can fit alot into 2600 calories. I usually have a 300-400 calorie breakfast, a 600-800 calorie lunch, a 300 calorie snack, and about a 900-1100 calorie dinner, which keeps me right at or just under my goal. I eat the biggest meal for dinner with hopes that it keeps me full until bedtime, and so that I am not tempted to snack at night. The low calorie breakfast is pretty easy for me, it's the lunch until dinner time that I worry about staying focused, and on track0

Between 1500-1800. I do crossfit and I'm 173 5'5. Although I look like I weigh 150-1600

2400-2500 after recovering from an eating disorder0
-
I maintain at 2500-2600, including exercise calories. I don't measure them anymore, since they're pretty consistent week to week and I use the TDEE method. I guess I net around 2100 on exercise days.0
-
My TDEE (total daily energy expenditure) is right around 2000, so if I'm maintaining, that's what I eat. If I'm trying to lose, I try for 1600-1800. (that's calories, not net calories)0
