Small Accomplishment = Great Feeling

I've hit one of my first goals. One month today I told myself no more fast food; I have upheld that goal for one month now. I never thought I could actually do it. I would eat fast food at least 3x a week if not more, but I feel so much better now without all that crap food in my body.

Congrats - that is a big accomplishment and something to definitely be proud of! You will be amazed if you go back and eat it again in the future how crappy some it will taste and how unsatisfying it is. I ate a McDonald's Happy Meal with my daughter about 2 months after I first started eating healthy and it tasted so gross. Afterwards I was still hungry, too, and wanted to eat everything in site. Definitely not as satisfying and filling as my healthy meals are.
  • That is awesome.
Don't turn back, I warn you, only because I have done it. Don't even try a small "healthy" McDonald item, it is like a drug. You will become addicted again. Stay away, stay far away.

Thats not a small accomplishment whatsoever! I think thats a HUGE accomplishment. It's not easy, especially if you are used to eating it all the time. It's the little NSV's that count more so than the numbers on the scale!

For me it was soda that was my weakness. I needed a Coke at least every day. Its so weird to think back now that I had struggled with it so much.

Seriously I stopped drinking it then all of a sudden I started again no idea why, tried to stop again and then Dreamed about Coca Cola. I knew I had a problem

Anyhow, now I dont crave it. I rarely drink it...and when I do its not as amazing as it once was.

Seriously, NEVER thought I would say that. NEVER NEVER NEVER.

    Baby steps.

That's terrific! The longer you go without - the more you'll see that you don't miss this 'food'!

No offense, but demonizing things will only lead to guilt later. IF you stop somewhere you will survive...PROMISE.

Not advocating for going to get fast food....but also not going to say that its like a drug. Someday you have to hold yourself accountable...
