I am trying to lose weight gained because of medication (Tamoxifen). I am managing to diet ok, but have arthritis in my spine which makes exercise almost impossible. Can anyone suggest suitable GENTLE exercises which I can do at home? (I am 66).

Have you ever tried doing something like Tai Chi? It'll help you with your flexibility and agility and is SUPER gentle. There's a great program called "Tai Cheng" that could be helpful to you!

Feel free to friend me and I can tell you more about it!

Hey Pink Coconut, I'm glad you brought that up. i desperately want to try Tai chi but live in a small town and it is not offered. Do you know where I could find a video or something?

Try working out in a pool. The water works against you as you move plus the water will support your body.

If you have a pool available, water aerobics classes are great. And try googling Chair exercises for many great programs. If your town has a senior center, they may have chair exercise classes as well.
