Should I log calories burned by breastfeeding & how?

I have read breastfeeding burns 500 -700 calories. I have a 4 month old who eats on demand usually every 3 hours. Should I log that under in my cardio journal? Maybe walking with a infant? Any ideas? I plan on losing 1 lb a week and eating a 1800 - 2000 cal diet. Probably more as I am starving ALL the time! Thanks for your input!

There is an entry in the database for breastfeeding. It shows up as negative calories and thus gives you extra calories. Exclusive breastfeeding burns approximately 500-800 calories per day.0

I was told 500 calories extra a day until about 6 months then figure 300 extra. I would bump back up to the extra 500 if it seems baby is going through a growth spurt.
I would just add it to your calorie goal until you finish BFing...0 -
add the calories in your food diary, add 500 on top of normal daily calories until your baby starts eating food around 6 months and then lower it to about 300, unless your child is like mine and still nurses like a mad man, I think I lowered mine to 300 after a year and I'm still there right now.
my diary is open, you'll see that I had an older baby as a snack for -300 calories.
make sure you get those calories in!!!0
