Not eating enough calories?!

It's my second day tracking my food and it seems that I'm constantly coming short of my daily food goals, despite feelings like i'm eating all the time! At the bottom of the screen it says "not eating enough calories...( is bad and can make you gain/hold on to weight)"!!! What else can I eat?! I don't eat dairy, and I avoid grains in general (for stomach reasons). What are some medium size foods that i can eat (anywhere between 200-800 calories) that I can add in either as snacks or second lunches to sustain healthy amount of calories?

  • You could add avocados, pistachios (or other nuts), almond milk, and snack on dried fruits. Deliciousness!

peanut butter. 2 tbsp. = around 200 calories. Easy add on, and super delicious :)

Can I ask you, how do you people eat peanut butter and lose weight.

I took off 35 lbs about 4 years ago and gained 15 lbs back with peanut butter in a very short amount of time.

If I ate peanut butter I would never lose a lb. AND its a favorite. I just don't eat it.

I second the peanut butter. I eat a spoonful to help get me through the afternoon if I need it.

Peaaaanuttttt Butttteeerrrrrr. This is my number one answer. You didn't get to the point you need to lose weight by having trouble eating enough.

Avocado was another good suggestions. Any nut is always good. Also fruit.

    And Go!

I'm trying to maintain/gain a little weight back, and I'm excited because I get to eat more peanut butter!!! I usually eat it on a spoon...or with an apple, or with some celery, or in a smoothie with frozen banana, almond milk, cocoa powder, and sometimes frozen raspberries.
