I have been seeing several recipes that call for this that look delish however I don't know where to look for it at in the grocery store. my first thought was by the rice and beans but did not find it there

Quinoa is usually by the rice. You can find it at Whole Foods and some other grocery stores in the bulk section.0

I buy it in the bulk foods section. It is usually significantly cheaper than buying it prepacked.0

It may be in the 'natural'/organics section, if there is one in your store. You may have to check out a bulk foods store (less expensive) or a health food store (more expensive) to find it.
It IS delicious! Some brands require a quick rinse before cooking to eliminate a bitter compound that surrounds the seed while it grows, though I've never had any that had any bitterness whatsoever.0 -
At Hy-Vee it is in the health market section. At Fareway it is with the gluten-free items. You can get it at Food Co-ops also, in the bulk area. Great stuff!0
