Knees on fire after 30 day ripped: Need suggestion

I am in week 3 of Jillian's 30 Day ripped program. My knees are hurting a lot, is it a normal thing? I want to make sure I am not buying pain for my whole life just by doing wrong exercise. Please advise.

    Like in the muscles around the knee? Like sore muscles? Or ligament/joint pain?

    Edit to add: because if it's sore muscles -- congratulations! that isn't pain, that's your body getting awesome! Drink lots of water and take ibuprofen to decrease inflammation. But if it's joint/ligament pain, check with your doctor. Maybe check with your doctor anyway.

    If I personally (I'm not a doctor) couldn't tell if something was joint/ligament pain or just super sore muscles, I'd stop working out that body part for a couple days. If it didn't get better, I'd see a doctor.

    Seems like the pain is in the suprapatellar bursa from what you describe and the image you linked to. I think you should ask your doctor if it is aggravated from the exercises, but you could stop for a week and see if its better.
