HRM Questions

I went to the gym today and used my HRM for the first time (Polar FT4)!. Im kind of surprised and wondering if its accurate. My heartrate was between 133 and 164 for my workout (min and max) I was "in zone" for 19 minutes out of the 30 minutes that I did strength training and it says I burned 255 calories. It just seems like a lot to me? I am wondering if I need to change my zones a little bit... Anyone have any insight on this kind of thing?I have a naturally high heart rate so before I started it was at about 100 (tho I am sick so its a bit higher than normal)

were you running or some sort of steady cardio activity? if not, then the data might not be correct.0

Its correct, to degree.
