OK. So I have a boxed Angel Food Cake mix. I was thinking about making either mini cup cakes, or regular cup cakes, or even maybe a bundt cake. I am the only one that eats this. Does anyone have some ideas for me? I'm not the best cook, despise whipped cream and LOVE chocolate.

Thanks!

I LOVE angel food cake. I have a recipe where you layer angel food cake, strawberries and cool whip and then let it chill. I use all sugar free ingredients (except for the strawberries of course). It's quite delicious! I bet you could possibly drizzle chocolate over it too. You can add blueberries if you want also! It's one of my favorite deserts.

Angel Apple Dump Cake! Buy a can of apple pie filling and mix the two together. Put it in a 9x9 pan and bake for amount of time and temperature on the box. Super easy, super yummy, and low calories!

Another one is angel food cake mix 1 large can crushed pineapple juice included. Mix together and bake in 9x13. Some put a little cool whip on top. That was on the boards here a few weeks ago. Very good..

MMMMM! That sounds good GSDlovers!!! I'll have to try that as I love pineapple! On a side note, love the profile pic, are they yours? I have a GSD as well and he is a total momma's boy!

Wow, I haven't had angel food cake in years, but I love it. I've never made it out of a box, though, I used to buy it already made in the deli section of the grocery store. And 72 calories per oz with no sugar? Holy cow, that's awesome! I'll have to steer clear of it, though. I could easily eat the whole thing in one sitting.

I've never added anything to angel food cake. It's perfect by itself.

^This is soooooo good. Sliced berries are good on top too.

    How about 3-2-1 mug cake?

1 pkg angel food cake mix
    1 pkg regular cake mix

Put both mixes in a ziplock bag. Add 3 tablespoons mix and 2 tablespoons water to a mug. Stir & microwave 1 minute. This is a cupcake sized serving.

3 2 1 cake is probably only good for people who have been depriving themselves for so long that they forgot what satisfying cake tastes like. I threw my mix in the trash, and that's saying a lot.

I totally need to try the pineapple recipe though.
