My new comfort food

So, I was pissed off today and I comforted myself with food as always, but today it was different type of food.
It's boiled broccoli and cauliflower with 70 grams of Mautner and Markhof kräuter dressing (you can obviously use any other dressing, but my fevorite is always kräuter).
So here it is:

What is your comfort food now that you're trying to lose weight? I know that comforting yourself with food is not a good thing even if it's healthy, but that's just how I deal with emotions.

Yes, it was super tasty (otherwise it would not be my comfort food), I mean,I feel like a good dressing can make everything taste better.

My favorite comfort food since childhood has been pinto beans with cornbread and chopped scallions. And since it's a healthy meal, it still is.

I don't actually eat it for comfort, though. But it feels like a comfort food when I eat it. I guess because it reminds me of childhood.

I'm looking for ideas for healthy comfort/snacking foods since I am an emotional eater, and love chips and chocolate right before bed. Tonight I am planning on a giant bucket of air-popped popcorn while we watch Game of Thrones, just looking for a low-cal way to spice it up a bit. I've got some of that (very salty) cheesy seasoning, but thinking I can add garlic/onion powder, a little bit of butter to get it to stick, and go to town.
