Here I go again.

Male age 50 attempting to once again get to a healthy weight. My additional motivation is I'm getting married this October and would not mind fitting into a smaller tux :) I know what I should be doing for diet and exercise its my motivation that wanes after a period of time. Let me know if there is a trick to keeping on track and please by all means get on my case if you see me spinning my wheels !

Thanks All

Find what works for you, I put £5 in a jar for every pound I lost came in handy as now 34" waist from 44" 580 has really helped with new wardrobe.

Also try stacking up anything equal to the weight you lose bags of sand anything I used weight plates, seeing weights going onto bar now over 52kgs and bench pressing it now and again to remind myself how bad I was works for me and keeps me motivated.

Find an exercise you enjoy then you are more likely to stick with it, Rowing suited me and I can do it sitting in front of a good movie!

Thanks lucan07. I like the idea of using plates to equal weight lost......... visual aids like that work well with me.
I will also look into doing an exercise along with my walking to keep the results coming. The rowing sounds interesting !
