HELP!

I really need help! I've been researching for a couple of months " how to diet right without starving myself" but I totally got myself confused. I weigh 148lbs and I need to get to 130lbs. I'm 5'5 and I just need help on how much I should eat and exercise cause its's real confusing. I've been on MFP for some months and at first I was losing weight quickly (Which I don't wan't.) And now the pounds haven't been coming off in 2 months! I'm really getting unmotivated and I need some help! I'm tired of the fat hanging on my stomach, I want some abs... (LOL I'll wait)

i am the same height and weigh around 140 pounds. My intake has been set to 1510 calories and i eat back all my exercise calories. I cannot say how much i lose this way though, because my intake varies a lot. I eat at maintenance a few days and eat above goal and below depending on my mood. Slow and steady is the best. I have lost around 34 pounds in the past year this way(nothing in the past 2 months because i have been overeating).
Also, weigh and measure all food intake. Use HRM to measure calories burnt(MFP overestimates). Or, you can use TDEE-15% too.
  • So should I eat my exercise calories back? I do zumba 6x a week & burn 300-600 cal per zumba workout.

Yes you need to eat them back...at least 50% up to 75%...

As well are you sure about your intake???? if you aren't losing weight you are probably eating more than you think...

A lot of people here use a food scale to ensure accurate intake.
  • Maybe so! Time to go buy a food scale... THANKS! :flowerforyou:
