Should I weigh myself or not?

So, I normally weigh myself daily to track trends. Well, I am very pre menstrual and I had a ton of sodium yesterday....ie pickle juice!!! So, I opted out of weighing myself today because I was pretty sure they scale would go up because of the sodium! Would you weigh or not?? Or should I just forget it for today?

I do. But I don't fret over the details. Just an FYI it can take several days for effects to show and/or wear off. Water weight is not fat. Keep moving forward.0

I'd forget about it. I weighed myself this month during my TOM of it drove me mad. I kept gaining and I hated seeing the gains even though I knew they weren't real! I think I'll skip weighing next week.0

You can weigh yourself. I mean you KNOW that what your scale tells you might be a little off so if it's not the number you want it to be, just don't worry about it.0

For a time I weighed myself daily, but used a 10 day moving average as my main interest point. If you're a knowledge junkie it might be handy to weigh yourself each month when this comes around to determine an average spike. Then you know what to expect later.
But yeah, moving average for sure if weighing daily.0 -
I never weigh myself during the time of month. It drives me bonkers. I'd wait until afterward. We don't need anything else making us crazy during that time.0

I don't bother when I know I'll be over, lol.0

Dont do it. Why put yourself through that torture. You already know it's water weight/PMS, so just wait a week or two before you weigh in0

Well if you're weighing to track trends then wouldn't you weigh to track that at this time of month you always weigh higher (if that is the case)? That's possibly a big part of the trend isn't it?0
