Am I Doing This Right?

Okay my calorie goal is 1510. I ate 1520 and burned 299 calories. My net is 1221 and I have 289 remaining. (Btw, I am FULL today and not hungry at ALL!) Am I doing this right? Will this lead me to losing weight? Thanks :flowerforyou:

That's the general concept, yes. You can have a cookie or something for 200-300 cals. You want to try to get close to your net target. Being at your target should lead to the weight loss you entered as your goal.0

Don't force feed yourself! If you're too full, that's fine - you're at a deficit (which is what you want) and you're above the magical 1200 cal mark, so you're obviously not starving yourself either.0

Eeeh.... I mean, I'm fairly certain you want to be within a 100 calories of your goal limit. The reason is that, should you be working out or have an active lifestyle, your body is looking to burn calories. However, if you're not feeding your body those calories (preferably from healthy foods, salads, juicing, etc) it tends to try and 'save' as much calories as possible.
You have to understand - your body is a machine. As most machines, it does not have a mind. It only knows that X amount of work requires X amount of energy, and if it runs out of energy its possible to be destroyed/hurt/harmed (the body being healthy meant for your survival). Really, it still thinks its in the old times were having calories is as good as having gold. Letting that gold go liberally is a bad thing... unless you has a good source of gold coming in!
That said, its like this; restore your bodies calories (calorie goal) everyday with healthy calories. You body will see it has an excess amount of calories to burn, and eventually your metabolism will gain a significant boost!
(Note: Empty calories are just that, empty. Your body digests them much quicker (thus you feel hungry faster) and you don't sustain a good balance of nutrients. Nutrients from healthy foods, and thus good calories, allow you to feel more at ease when working out!)0
