So, obviously cooking from scratch is healthier, but when I type in the food (say sauteed zucchini and squash), how do I know which one to pick. Sometimes they're extremely different. I plugged in one and it was 270 calories and a different one and it was only 105??

Always pick the one with the lower caloric intake:-)0

If you are making your own meals - use the raw ingredients and create your own recipes.
Something simple like saute'ed zucchini, I would just enter the weight of the raw zucchinni, how much olive oil I used and the spices in my diary, I wouldn't bother making a recipe for it. If it's more than one portion like 4, I would enter 1/4 of the veg weight and 1/4 tblsp of olive oil (if I used a tblsp), etc generally I try to use the Mrs. Dash type spices so I don't bother to enter those.0 -
I never thought of that...thanks.0
