I'm looking to buy a new bathroom scale
I just found out there are some that calculate your recommended calorie intake....
does anyone have a scale like this
does it work
is it generic....kinda like this site....or does it take into account all sorts of factors....

It's most likely generic, but that's okay. Most calorie recommendations are based on the same factors that this site uses. Even doctors.
All it does is take your the estimated about of calories you'd burn if you just did nothing (your RMR) and subtract 500 or 1000 (depending on your preferred amount per week to lose)
This site is dead on for me. I measured it the other day with my HRM.0 -
I don't think any scale takes into all of the factors that affect your weight. All scales do is generate a number but it doesn't break down your body composition. My advice is to just buy a cheap digital scale and stay as close to your MFP diet profile as possible.0

do u think any would show you a calorie intake thats lower than 12000

Probably not. And if you want a calorie count lower than 1,200, I hope you think about reconsidering it.
It's not gonna help you in the long run.0
