Calories burned doing Insanity?

Hey Insanity users - I have a question that I'm sure lots of people are asking.
How many calories do I burn during an Insanity workout? I don't have a HRM and don't have the cash to get one for a while.
I'm 27, 5'4 and 132 lbs. I work pretty hard doing this - I don't take many rests at all.
Anyone know how to calculate this? Or anyone a similar size/age that could tell me what kind of burn they're getting?

As you probably know, calories burned will be different for everyone. Before I had a HRM I logged Insanity workouts as aerobics. When I purchased a HRM I realized it wasn't far off BUT some days I don't burn much at all. Such as yesterday I only burned 50 cals doing my first recovery wk workout. (I am 29, 5' 2", 102)
I bought a cheap HRM at Walmart for $30. It is nothing fancy but it does track heart rate and cals burned. Maybe later I will get a fancier one, when I can afford it.
My workouts usually burn 200-400 calories (so far). But like I said some days I don't burn much at all. I have friends on here that burn 600-800 per workout. It's just different for everyone.0 -
Last night was my first Insanity workout. I took my pulse during the water breaks and kept a note of that. Figured out the average and then went to this site:

I do the exact same thing, but I've recently been using this site

Either one is fine.0 -
I'm 5'3" 120 lbs and I only burned 244 calories during power and resistance. I used my polar ft4 HRM.0

Hi, it's always difficult to be sure how many calories you have burned as you need to figure in weight, the particular workout you are using and how intensely you are working. There is a calculator which will do this very simply but the hardest thing is knowing which intensity to use - you can try all thre and see which result seems closest for you. http://insanitycalories.com/0
