My midsection never has any muscle definition. Even when I was at 10% body fat it still looked undefined. Any suggestions?

Crunches are good for building some strength, but you'll want to partake in excercises that will engage your entire core- back, obliques, rectus and transverse abdominis. Any stability exercise programs will help, i.e. stability ball, balance disc, bosu, etc. Planks, uneven pushups (like with one hand on a platform) and board sports all help engage your core for balance, which works and tones the muscles.
Of course, none of that will be visible without a solid cardio routine and clean eating. Abs are made in the kitchen, you know.
But don't giveup. It's not actually an unattainable goal if you work your way towards it.0 -

This might not be what you want to hear, but you may not have enough muscle on your frame to be visible, even at low a BF%. Hit the weights, hit the food, and revisit your cut a couple years (at least) down the road.
I started out in your situation, as well, and this is what I've had to do.0
