as long as you're under your calories?
I had a cup of fried potato I'm still under my calories ( by 500 actually) but I'm worried I just shot myself in the foot, I very rarely eat anything fried now I just had a craving for it today.

I personally do not have any off limits foods. I eat what I want as long as I stay within my calories. I have had a couple cheat meals (over my calories), but I felt sick after haha.
If you stay under your cals, you'll lose weight. Period. However, I'm finding that eating something that's high in calories is usually not filling and then I'm hungry after haha. But I still do it
So basically, yup! Treat away0 -
To lose weight, you just need to be in a calorie deficit. You can hit your calorie goal eating any food you want.
I aim for a balanced diet, but I treat myself every day! Today I had a small slice of apple pie and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I just made it fit into my calories for the day. That's how I've lost all my weight so far.0 -
Yes it's ok to treat yourself for sure. If you don't your body will crave more and more and you will end up binging and really adding calories. Letting yourself have little amounts here and there is good for your body. It regulates and lessens cravings and binges :-).0

I'm so happy I wasn't the only person that thought of Tom Haverford.0

Definitely treat yourself, especially if you'll still be under your daily calorie target! If I have plenty of calories left for the day, you bet I'll eat something I'm craving!0

I don't have any off limit foods, either; as long as I'm within my calorie goal, it's a good day. Depriving myself of favorite foods only leads to overeating on foods I'm not craving and/or binging later. Be kind to yourself.0

Yeah, why not! Sunday is my treat day, and it's love/hate; so long as you don't go overboard what's the harm?0
