60 lbs later... :)

Worked really hard on eating better and keeping it moving since May 21, 2013.
Dropped 60 lbs (about 27.5 kgs) since by eating better, being more active, and more recently, jogging...
I'm hitting some "plateaus" these days, I think because of my increasing muscular mass...
What do you guys have to suggest in those cases?
Keep up the good work everyone! The struggle is real, but so is the Success! :glasses:

I haven't weighed or measured my food up to now, to be honest.
I'm eating a bit less, but much better. Seems to work for me!0 -

Congratulations! That's great that this worked for you up to now. But, as you stated, you've stalled in the process and as you lose weight you need to eat less to sustain weight loss. Weighing and measuring your food will help you control portion sizes and get you back on track.0 -
Great work!! You are doing a wonderful job and you can really see a big difference! Congrats!:drinker:0

Great job with the weight loss. Its never easy!!
But I think you just pegged why you are at a plateau. The more you lose, the more you have to be super conscientious of the food you eat. Weighing and measuring will really help keep a tight rein on the calories. Its a good place to start if you are not losing what you think you are supposed to.
Also, since you have dropped weight, you probably have to readjust your calorie goal. I change mine at every 10lb loss or so. The smaller we get, the less calories we need to eat.0
