Clams With or without shells?

Hi there, I've been having issues with inputting nutrition values on MFP in regards to clams, most of it is fairly ambiguous on whether the servings are with or without shells. (i usually only go with weighted values as opposed to single unit values like 1 clam or so)

Any ideas whats a good way to just measure clam meat by weight? in particular i'm looking for cherry stones and little necks. so far i've had no luck on this site, as well as other sites. none of it specify "meat only" and follows by weight

Thanks in advance!

    Thanks for the suggestion!

Is there by chance a way to find it specifically geared towards cherrystones? or are all clam nutrition roughly similar?

I'm mainly asking because the values on MFP seems oddly off. (for ex: 4-5oz of clam meat yields less then 100 calories seems very far fetched for instance)

EDIT: Upon further research I found that cherry stones are INDEED very low calorie. I'll take that back .

Measurements are ONLY for what you are expected to eat.

If you want to cook them in the shell, weigh the lot, remember the weight, then weigh your shells before you throw them away. Subtract shell weight from total and voila - clam weight.
