how to burn roughly 300 calories?

I recently started running 5 to 6 times a week and I usually aim to burn 300 calories (I am 5'7'' and 146 lbs) per run, but I must admit that I start finding it reeeeally boring to run for that long so I'm lacking motivation to actually get up and enjoy my workout.
What are your favourite cardio exercises to burn calories?
How many do you burn at your weight?
And fancy ideas? :)
I'd love to hear what your guys' favourites are.

If you have an android or iPhone, you can try Zombies! Run! which is a running app/game. It has an actual story line and episodes, and you run with your earbuds and listen to the zombies chasing you. There are established goals and a little bit of strategy as well.

There are several other apps for motivation...one lets you bet actual money against a goal, and you can earn money when you reach it (other people are paying money for not reaching their goals.)

I have bad knees so the elliptical is my choice for cardio.

Are you doing the same run every time? That might be why you are burning out on it. I generally run 4 times a week and XT twice in a spin class or something like that to mix it up plus 2 -3 strength sessions. I also don't go that same distance all the time. I mix it up with short runs, tempos, speedwork, long runs, hill climbs, etc...

That might help you kill the boredom factor.

On average, if you run a 10 min mile, you burn ABOUT 100 calories per mile ( or 100 calories per 10 minutes) minute, so that is only 30 minutes of cardio. Get some good music, hit the road to enjoy the fresh air and just do it.

Elliptical is great as well as the Stair-climber. Each of them at a 45 minutes will burn 300 calories.

Get someone to jump rope with you and make it like a mini-competition. I had fun doing this with my husband when he was in the country. We had music going and would take turns doing jumps for certain amounts of time.

I don't do it, but if outside and all your running routes are getting boring - try them skipping.

Actually, pick more public routes and see how many smiles you create by skipping.

Burns more than walking but not as much as running, so may have to go for longer.

Biking is my fav. I'd need 19 min at mid-aerobic HR zone to burn 300, so I'll never burn that little, because I'd never be able to go for that short of time.
