Introducing myself!

Hi everyone!
I just signed up yesterday and have already gone pretty far beyond my calorie limit today which absolutely sucks. Turns out that it gets really hard to say no when people are buying you food at fancy restaurants! Hoping to find some encouragement and inspiration here. I am a 22 year old female, graduated college last year, hoping to move to Thailand soon and figure out healthy eating and exercise before that! I struggle with compulsive overeating but getting on the scale yesterday really scared me. I have no idea how this works, but I am hoping to learn!

First off.. Welcome! :flowerforyou:
·Congrats on taking the first step!
·You don't have to say no, but there is absolutely no rule that says you have to finish what's on the plate in front of you.
What sort of workouts are you interested in? There are plenty of things you can do at home with your own body's weight if you can't find time to leave. There are also ways of making your own equipment out of household items.0 -
Thanks for the welcome! I know I dont have to finish but its so hard for me once its in front of my face! It is a self control thing and I know that I have to work on it..
I have started swimming for the first time since high school. I was a water polo player and swimmer so its something that comes very naturally to me, though it has been frustrating to realize that I just dont have the endurance that I used to have! I used to rock climb but dont have access to that in flatflat Nebraska. Otherwise, I love to walk and hike and have started walking about 4.5 miles to work several times a week. Its not much, but its a start!0
