Here we go again!

Hi
I'm Stefanie, 33 y/o, single mom to a teenager and still carrying around the baby weight.
I've tried and failed at losing this weight more times than I can count. I've even tried MFP before (looong time ago). I've tried everything and I've never been able to stick with any of it. I beat myself up over small mistakes. I expect perfection. I ultimately give up when I do not meet my own expectations (what is that????).
I don't know if this time will work. I hope it will. I worry that it won't. I've let myself down so many times before. I'm going to try my hardest. I'm going to make myself drink water (I hate water). I signed up at the gym last week and so far, my teenager has proven to be a very good drill sergeant in making me go (I love him). Most of the other "diets" I've done involved either cutting out carbs or going extremely low on calories. This time, I'm letting myself have whatever I want, except I'm going to AIM FOR healthier choices, try to leave off extras where possible (no cheese on sandwich, etc.), drink tons of water, and get as close to my calorie goal without going over as possible (MFP assigned me 1,490 calories per day). Along with regular exercise, I'm hoping this 1, 347, 232nd time is the charm.
Would love for people to add me, one thing I always loved about this site was the shared successes, failures, motivation, etc. Looking forward to this time being the one that finally worked!
