Mitzy - try not to take it too hard... I think every Fitbit user has experienced that heartbreak to one degree or another. I once left my Fitbit charging while I went out on a 16 mile hike... :sad: I didn't realize it until I was at the trailhead... I still did the hike, but I was kicking myself the whole way... I hope you still managed to get out there, even if you didn't get 'credit' for it!0 -

Would someone please tell me how you report your steps on MFP exercise diary!
What I have seen is only minutes and calories. Is there another way to put steps in the diary?

Rebamae - I know a few people here have different ways of reporting it. For me I just record the time that I am on the treadmill or out for a walk. Anything else is a bonus to help offset any snacks I forget to log. If your counter lists an average speed for the day and a time you could try inputing that0 -

Belated update from me (RL and work are slaying me, lol, and I've scarcely opened my laptop in the last four days), and a few days' catch-up on comments:
barbiecat, line dance classes sounds awesome! (And such a great way to get steps in!)
04mitzy, this is one of the reasons that I'm glad I have the Force, but I definitely feel your pain. Whenever I have to charge it, I feel like I'm going around naked or something and have to remind myself that walking is still good for me even if it isn't showing up on a count somewhere.
dancing, what a fabulous count on the 12th! And a good-looking yard to boot!
Rebamae, you can synch your Fitbit to MFP if you want, and then MFP will bring in the calories burned from your Fitbit and either award you calories for it (i.e. exercise burned) or take calories away (i.e. you burned less than MFP estimated so it adjusts your calories to be consumed down accordingly). If you want to do that, you go to the Apps tab, find Fitbit, and click on "get app" and follow the instructions. Your actual step count will list only on the Fitbit website, not on MFP.
