New to calorie counting

Hey guys, I'm new to the digital tracking of calories thing. I used to just guesstimate in my head, but right now I'm trying to cut and lose as much body fat as I can(weigh 170 right now wanna get to 150-155). Once I do that I'm gonna start building muscle!
Is there any way to customize settings such as daily protein requirements etc? As a standard because I do weight training I like to consume 1g of protein per pound of bodyweight for example, then I like to meet fat requirements and I don't really care to have any carbs(I just use those to meet daily caloric needs after protein and fat is achieved).
Thanks and hope to benefit from this!

Welcome! Also, calorie counting will be very rewarding and along with calorie counting with MyFitnessPal, you might want to go to your nearest Walmart and pick up a food scale (if you haven't already). Knowing is the first step to understanding accurately how much calories you're putting into your body. Again welcome!0
