I'll start: I e-filed at 3:00 this afternoon. Surely someone can do better than that!

No fair filing for an extension though!

Dave, I would never wait that long to e-file--you never know when they will reject it and it could take up to 2 days to find out! Ok, so I am kind of paranoid that way..

Hmmm... never had one rejected, and I've e-filed for the past several years. I don't think it would be a huge deal since they automatically give you an extension if you ask for one (as long as you pay whatever is due).

Does it count if I was doing my daughters? She waited and waited and waited.... then yesterday sent her paperwork home with her brother so I could do it! I finally hit submit at 11:31 last night.... UGH!

I think we have a winner! I did my kids' taxes too -- somehow I've got to wean them off that -- they are 20 and 22. I don't want to be doing this when they are 30!

Yea, she is 22 and just moved out on her own.... she is doing really well, but I still have to remind her of certain due dates! Like tax day.... UGH.
