One Year Ago I Said "Enough"

On 2013-04-16, my scale slapped me in the face -- 235 pounds. My 38 inch waist pants were too tight. I had told my doctor four months (and 10 pounds) earlier that I didn't want to take blood pressure medicine for the rest of my life (150/99). Not good. I told him I would keep it under control with diet and exercise.

So, I made up my mind. This time... no excuses. I started logging my food, again, on 2013-04-18 and I've been logging ever since.

I don't have any pictures of me in April 2013, but here are a few along the journey to losing 65 pounds and lowering my blood pressure to 104/73.
