Compression shorts or pants and underwear; yea or nay?

Edited: I'll rephrase the question- Are athletic compression pants and/or shorts meant to be worn with, or without underwear?

    I go commando when I workout. I just can not exercise in panties.

    I do, however, have a couple pairs of shorts that have the built-ins. One pair has a compression type undershort the other is mesh. I'm okay with those it's just normal every day underthings I can't wear.

    Depends on you.

    I like compression shorts for working out.
    I like boxer briefs for day to day, work, etc.
    I like commando at home!

    Compression shorts don't sit right on me. I have a super short torso so I feel like I'm either suffocating because they're too high, or muffin-top-licious because they're too low.

    Pants...just pants. :wink:

    ETA: I do not wear underroos with compression shorts.

    Thanks for the input. I normally wear athletic pants and workout friendly, no show panties (it just sounded nicer than thong). I'm going to invest in some compression shorts, and my husband insists no one wears underwear with compression bottoms. I have absolutely no idea if there is actually some rule to this.

    I agree with your husband. Compression shorts require no underwear.
