10lbs to go..PLEASE help me..

I've finally reached my breaking point today. It is 11am and I've eaten all my calories today. Take a look, I log everything to a tee. How do I keep myself from binging like this and hats the worse that will happen to my diet today? I feel guilty now but am so hungry still I feel I have almost no control anymore :( at least for today but I've been feeling like this the past couple weeks and the scale has hardly budged even tho I've been eating so clean. So much hard work and hardly anything to show. Any advice would be helpful

Oh and I've even increased my calories and changed my goal to help a few days ago. Only ten pounds to go too

    Hello,

What are your stats? How tall are you? Since you have 10 pounds to lose, did you set your MFP goal to half a pound per week? If so, and you are eating what you should be eating, do you consider maybe exercising so you have a larger calorie allowance? On days I go over (not all the time though) I usually exercise to burn the extra calories.

Also, are you measuring everything you eat? I see that the banana you entered today was entered based on size instead of weight. You never know, but what if it had less calories (or more?) Get a food scale as well to track more accurately.

Don't stress out, eat more if you are hungry and make it up tomorrow (or today, with exercise). If you have a hard time feeling full try eating foods that are more satiating and not so full of calories.

you're "binging" now, because you weren't eating enough before. Today's diary actually looked like what most would consider to be a good day. Don't get too far into your own head... There will be days where you aren't very hungry and end up below your goal. There will also be days where you eat above your goal. This is fine and not something that you should be getting worried about. To keep yourself feeling full, try eating more protein throughout the day rather than chips or other snacks (unless they really satisfy a craving without going overboard).

Just try to stay within 100 calories or so of your daily goal. Try not to go too far under it and don't beat yourself up if you go over it just a bit. Trust the process. Eating at a deficit over a period of time WILL get your weight down, but it may not be as fast as you would like it to be. Just trust that it will happen and be diligent about logging. It takes 3500 calories to lose a lb or gain a lb (deficit or surplus).

Do your absolute best to NOT go below 1200 though. I know it can be tempting, but it just helps to open up the doors to potentially binging.

All of this is great advice^

I am 5'7 and 1/2 and currently weigh 150 but probably add another 2lbs the way today is going :/ my calorie goal was set to 1200 but upped it a few days ago so I could lose 1lb a week

One pound a week is too aggressive for the last 10 pounds. Your body will resist dropping the weight. Set it to half a pound a week and log very carefully.

This. With a deficit set to lose half a pound per week, you will still be eating at a deficit, thus you'll still lose weight.

Looking at it from another perspective, the smaller the deficit, the more chances you'll be losing fat instead of muscle and getting to your ideal goal body (because you can be at your "goal weight" but still might not look the way you expected due to losing muscle in the process).

im sorry , you ate 4 cups of cooked oatmeal?- 2c raw oatmeal makes for 4 cups cooked
    plain???

that doesnt seem to me like you are spacing your meals at all, and where are the veg??

lots of CARBS and almost nothing for protein, this would cause some of this , youre on a peak and valley insulin wise with what you are saying you ate...

10lbs to lose? why not focus on building muscle, and move some of that "weight" to muscle? yeah you might weigh more , but you will look better...

toned looks better than plain old skinny.

Yeah I eat my oatmeal plain with a tbsp or so of powdered peanut butter. I usually eat lost of veggies if you saw my diary the past couple days and I usually space my meals evenly throughout the day except today because I literally couldn't stand being hungry anymore. Thanks for the advice tho!!

Also, you say you're logging to a "tee" but then several days you're eating only 800-1,000 calories. Why are you doing that?

Also, your protein and fat levels are unbelievably low. Why is this?
