exercise calculator overstated?

I just started using "myfitnesspal" and I am finding that the exercise calculator is showing a calories burned # much higher than my Garmin is showing, i.e. the Garmin is lower by up to 1000 cals, depending on the exercise duration. I am thinking about using the Garmin calorie count since it is lower.
?

Same impression here, so I to have switched to the Garmin calculation. The Strava calculation is less accurate on the low side.0

Yes, use your Garmin. That's what I use. All calculators and gym machines are notorious for overestimating.0

I have the same issue. MFP lists my calories as much higher than my heart rate monitor does. I've started importing directly from my device and ignoring MFP.0
