Tofu Shirataki Noodles

So I decided to give those Tofu Shirataki Noodles a whirl. They were only $1.79 at the store so not too bad for the price. I rinsed them well & dried them. I used a little butter in a pan & then heated the noodles. I also found Walden Farm Alfredo Sauce - it's 0 cal, fat carbs- and actually not too shabby in taste. I combined all of it with some ground chicken that I made the night before. The chicken had about half a can of Rotel in it for taste. My verdict is, for a low cal imitation noodle treat, a definite yes...I can definitely continue my low carb lifestyle if I can eat something like that occasionally!

Just wondering where you found those noodles? I have looked and haven't really been able to find them.

They are usually in the produce section over by the tofu and won tons. I am glad you liked Shirataki Noodles. I have a hard time with the texture.

I live in MO so Price Chopper carries them...they actually have a health food section.
  • I am obsessed with these noodles! They are so inexpensive! Whole Foods has a few different takes on them too. They are 50 cal for the whole pack, but only $1.35 there.

    I found some at Target.
  • Those noodles are great!
If you're looking for them try Whole Foods or the "health food section" of your local grocer. :)

I'll have to check it out - we do have Whole Foods here...THANKS!

Wish I had a good experience with them. The texture is too freaky and felt like fake food in my mouth.
