Ok so here's my new plan . Six days a week I have; 1500 cals daily however must burn 300 cals exercise so I'm netting 1200 daily . If I'm not exercising just have 1200 cals a day . Then one day a week treat day of 2000 calories . Wil this work to loose around 1lb a week ? I'm 4ft 11 Weigh around 8st

    Do you know your TDEE?

Personally I think its fine - smart even - to have a day with a higher goal.

Not by my math, if 1500 is maintenance.

(300 daily deficit x 6) - 500 (treat day overage) = 1300 deficit per week. You need 3500 to lose one pound, so it will take about 2.5 - 3 weeks to lose a pound. This is good for your size though. You don't have much to lose.

But.. I'm no expert and I'm not great with numbers, so someone else may know better than me.

There's not enough information here to tell you if that is right or not. We don't know what your TDEE is.

This is what I would do....

Tell MFP you want to lose 1lb a week. Take that calorie number and multiply it by 7 to know how many calories you should consume per week.

If you don't want to eat the same amount of calories every day, then you can take that weekly number and break it down into 1 higher calorie day and 6 equal days.

    Hope that helps

    MAINTENANCE CALS 1555

Maintenance cals 1555 would mean you'd need to consume 10885 per week + exercise.

    Consuming 1200 net x 6 + 2000 = 9200. Deficit of ~1685. So about .5 pounds per week.

If you're not trying to lose weight then 1450 net (so 1450 on days without exercise, or 1450 + exercise) would have you about even with a higher day once a week.

    New math:

    (1555 maintenance - 1200 net) = 355 daily deficit

    (355 x 6) - 445 treat day overage = 1685 weekly deficit.

Comes out to about one pound every two weeks.

This is just based on calorie deficient and the average 3500 = 1 lbs.
