Has anyone tried the New Weight Watchers Points Plus Program?

I understand that its a really good program and I was successful when I was doing WW a few years back ... considering using WW and MFP to track everything I eat and jump start the second part of my weight loss at the first of the year?

Save your money ... eat clean and get activity.
Track your calories, make sure to eat above your BMR but not above your calorie range and you will lose weight!
  • I am using both Weight watchers and My Fitness Pal, but the issue is that on the new Points Plus program all the values of foods have changed. THe Great part is that Fruits and Veggies are no points:) I just started this two weeks ago and have had a good result this far. But i was tracking all the food as a whole per meal which was a lot more strict.

Here is the pro points online calculator http://www.wijvallenaf.nl/Weight-Watchers/ProPoints-Calculator.html

Don't you hate when a company changes things to avoid copy written online calculators but then someone goes and writes a program anyway? I love mathematicians and programmers ;)
  • The basic jist of the new program is that it's more anti-carbs and pro-protein with fruit being 0 points now.

My wife has been doing it for a couple of weeks and she seems to be doing well on it.

I'm using WW Pro Points but I'm also tracking calories here at MFP. I'm having good results so far & find the weekly public weigh in a good incentive, plus I get loads of face to face support.
