good or bad energy?

Is it terrible that I sometimes eat a few M&Ms and use the sugar rush to give me energy to start my workouts? Is it bad or am I just burning them off anyway and the energy rush is a bonus?

As long as you log the calories, there is no good or bad.

ALL sugars are a source of energy. There is no good/bad energy.

balance in all things; if it helps you and you are not diabetic.... go for it.

While Id agree a few m&ms are no big deal, I'd disagree with the "no good or bad premise". I think paying attention to micro nutrients has benefits in ones overall health.

I drink a coffee with a double expresso in it before my class on Saturdays morning... whatever gets you moving!

Thank you guys, I haven't actually logged them, but I only eat like 5 max. I gotta say though, the sugar rush helps me get going.

5 whole m&ms? That sugar 'rush' is all in your head.
