I actually think Blimpie's has the lower calorie sandwiches.0

I eat subway mostly but the oven roasted chicken breast bc of the sodium content or turkey as well. Quiznos if you have ever looked up the nutritional info you would be scared away. Finally Jimmy John's just doesn't have anything I have ever tried and liked.0

Jimmy John's Turkey Tom (#4) with light mayo + cucumbers is my favorite! Speaking of... it has been a while since I've had that!0

I like Subway, turkey on wheat with veges no cheese, or the black forest ham. Plus you can download their nutritional info for all of their food from their website :-)0

Subway is nice, a LOT of sodium, but that can always be solved by flushing it out with tons of water. Since I drink 25 cups a day or so, no worries!0

I never thought I would say this, but the Quizno's Veggis Flatbread Sammie is only 330 calories. If you get it without the vinaigrette (which it doesn't need because it has guacamole) it's only 230. You can have 2 for lunch and feel pretty darn good about yourself.
I am not a fan of Subway. You're basically eating a loaf of bread. They don't give you much by way of meat. Dislike.
I've never been to Blimpie's so I can't say.
Jersey Mike's mini #7 on white Mike's way is 545 calories. It's a little hefty, but if you're working out that day, then it's totally workable. They have the BEST sandwiches anywhere in my opinion AND they use fresh ingredients and you get a good portion.0 -

That is good to know, I just went there and was excited about the sammie, but disappointed in the overwhelming sweet flavor. Without the vinaigrette though I bet it would be much better, and totally worth the 230 calories!!
I get the veggie delight at subway and that is usually pretty good, the bread adds up though...0 -
I enjoy Subway's 1ft long Veggie Delight with the works. Usually when I do that, it's for dinner and that is all I'll eat.0

I ate a regular size veggie sub from, Quizno's a few days ago and it was 800 calories!! I was suppose to get the small and tomato basil soup, but they had run out of the soup so my husband brought home the regular. I ate it because, I had no self control, I was starving, and it's my favorite. WHOOPS! I think I'll stick to Subway though (Don't have a Blimplies close by here).0

I like Pot Belly's and Cosi.0

I haven't tried Blimpie or Jimmy John's because the few subs I have investigated there were loaded with calories (but that's not to say they don't have some good choices). I love the Subway veggie on wheat, no cheese & loaded with about every veggie I can add on - I call it my salad on a bun! 6" if it's lunch, 12" if I've got the calories for dinner. I have even gotten to the point where I don't "dress" it except with the oregano spice mix - adds enough flavor I don't need the oil/vinegar, although they say having a little fat with your meals is important.0

Same here. I tried to replicate what I eat at Subway (Black forest Ham on wheat no cheese loaded veggies) and I was shocked at the calorie difference...I cannot remember the numbers, but I have not been back to Quizno's. Plus I really like Subway's chicken noodle soup.0 -
Jimmy Johns #11 Country Club on French bread without mayo comes in at 575 calories. You can cut the calories further by getting rid of the cheese. You can make it a bit healthier if you get it on the wheat bread. I love Jimmy Johns French bread, though, so that's not an option for me.
Pro tip: Get two meals out of it by eating half the sandwich with a bowl of soup.0 -
Potbelly has a neat nutrition calculator: http://www.potbelly.com/Food/Nutrition.aspx
Panera has one too: http://www.paneranutrition.com/0 -

As a sidenote drinking lots of water will not flush out your sodium levels. Although you can counteract it by potassium!0 -
I forgot about Potbelly! I love them!! They do have a great sandwich builder online and their sandwiches are manageable if you get the tuna or turkey. Love that they're all toasted. Yum!0

I believe at Jimmy John's web site you can not only get the calories of the sandwich the way they normally serve it, but they have a tool that allows you to change what is on the sandwich and it changes the nutritional facts.0

They do and it is awesome.0
