Great thread, wish I would have seen it earlier in the month. I started riding to lose weight back in Nov. and I'm down about 60 lbs lbs just from riding. This months goal will be 300 miles.
4/12 - 32.7 miles at 16.6 mph pace
4/13 - 40.2 miles at 15 mph pace
4/14 - 18 miles at 16.1 mph pace
4/15 - 18 miles at 16.2 mph pace
4/16 - 24 miles at 15.7 mph pace

Feel good time this morning at the gym. 2 different people I've never spoken with before told me they could tell I was dropping weight--yeah baby!!

Ooh I'm in, love this thread. Got back on my bike 3 days ago, not been out since autumn last year and didn't realise how much I'd missed it! Not very fit but it's awesome fun. No computer to track my miles but approx 6 miles today in sunshine by the beach, yay0

My goal this month was to reach 200 miles. I am at 173 miles right now. I just joined my first challenge last month and exceeded my first goal of 75 miles. So this month I thought I went big with 200 miles and weather permitting, I hope to exceed that also. I am doing my very first Ride in July. It is a fund raiser ride for ALS and really means a lot to me. I signed up for the 50 mile ride and I know that will be a good first ride for me. The reason it is so close to my heart is that my grandma who raised me for the first 5 years of my life died from ALS in 1981.0
