    I agree 100% ! It is part of the reason of my putting on 20 pounds. I got into the coupon thing and saved huge! It was a real high to walk out of the store with $200 worth of stuff for $20. With all those big savings there was no fresh fruit, fresh veggies, dairy. It was all "non-perimeter" stuff. Now I have a fitness center membership that comes with a bigger cost than all the savings put together! I now mostly perimeter shop at the grocery store :)

    And how much will it cost treat the medical conditions caused by the poor quality of the American diet?

    We have already seen....far more than most of us can afford. We are in a health crisis in this country. Much of it is food related. We are all paying more for health care and insurance because of poor management of our own bodies.
