Light Indian Butter Chicken
My brother in law is from India and makes this for us for the lighter version ...so good
Number of servings 3-4 I like this recipe because really low fat..
Cumin 1T
Spices - Garam Masala, 3 tsp
Fresh Ginger - 1 tbsp minced fine
Onions - Raw, 1 small chopped
2T minced garlic
1 T brown sugar
1/4 cup plain yogurt.. I use Greek
1 T tomato paste
Oil - 2 T
8 ounces boneless skinless chicken breast, cut in small pieces
1 cup water
Sauté onion with garlic, ginger in oil 2-4 minutes .. add chicken cut in small pieces
Add spices, b sugar, salt and pepper
Add tomato paste, yogurt, and water.slowly combine.
Cook slowly till chicken is done...and sauce reduces slightly
May add chili flakes if you want some heat..
Serve over rice

I love any variation of this. I make a recipe that is similar with half a cup of almond butter or peanut butter added in the crock pot with an Emerson blender used near the end and chicken or seitan or chick peas added at the end. It's yum too!0

Just found this on all recipes if you wanted to make your own. I buy mine right in the grocery store. This you really need for that flavor. Hope this helps
