This is probably the hardest week of the year to lose weight, but as a group we did.

A few people were probably out of town and did not turn in weigh ins. For those who have turned in weigh ins during the past, I save the info, I just hide the cells when you forget to submit a weigh in.

Welcome Wyze as our only new member this week.

Biggest loser is yours truly. My challenge to everyone is to eat a healthy breakfast everyday (no skipping)

I did nothing to lose weight this week other than eating a healthy breakfast everyday. I have not exercised going on 2 weeks now, and I have not been recording my calories on the site. I plan on changing that once I get back to work after the 1st of the year. I seem to control my diet and exercise better when I have a routine.

So for anyone who wants to join...........1st off Welcome!!!!!!!

During your 1st week in the group, send me your starting weight, last Sunday's weight, and this week's Sunday weigh in. All information must be sent to me by noon Central on Monday. All subsequent week's you just have to give me your current weight from Sunday by noon on Monday.

This is an open group, and we love to have new people join. If you want to join, go ahead and start posting, tell us about yourself, and why you are wanting to lose wight, many of us have been doing this diet thing a while and may be able to answer a lot of our questions!!!!

    Starting weight: 144 (November 16th)
Last week's weigh in (Tuesday, Dec. 21st) Lost 12.4 lbs.
This week's weigh in (will do tomorrow)

Staying on track, daily, throughout the holiday season. There are times, I have to weigh in on a different day due to chronic bowel problem/bloating.

Need to get back down to goal weight of at least 110 lbs. and maintain a range of 106-110 lbs. by continuing to use the MFP program, daily, to avoid re-gaining lost weight as I did for the past 55 years. Probably the world's worst yo-yo dieter all those years. Need to stay at a healthy weight to avoid ending up in the heart surgeon's office.

Thanks for the chart Jack. Sorry, forgot to send my weight. I am back down a pound today, maybe the other 2 will be gone by next week too. Congrats to the losers (and everyone else for hanging in). I am back on the wagon officially today. I picked up some Healthy Choice meals and stuff to make salads. I think I ate a whole pig during Christmas. We had ham at all of our dinners. I'm going to increase my water intake this week too. Only 11 more days and my exercise class starts back. I will be so glad. I am just not disciplined enough to do it on my own. Hope you all have a healthy active day.

    Hi Claire...Welcome to the group.

    Welcome new members!!
I am not doing too good this week. We were snowed in for a couple of days with limited food choices and I had two sick kids to boot. So, I was snacking here and there, not able to cook healthy meals with my four month old attached to me, and it added up. I am back on track now and hope to just maintain this week. Hope everyone is hanging in there and will welcome the new year surrounded by friends and family.

Hi all...We had a big family meal last night and I blew it big time! We had cranberry meatballs, crock pot mac and cheese, sweet potatoe casserole, rolls and cherry pineapple dump cake. Whew, that is a mouthful (literally) My step-mom and I went thrifting yesterday and had a huge buffet lunch to boot! No wonder I am heading up. I have to get back on track before I gain back everything I worked so hard to lose. So far so good today. Started my day with oatmeal and am full. I plan on Healthy Choice meals for lunch and dinner today. We are heading to Charleston, SC tomorrow for the winter carnival and to see the Christmas lights. I'm looking forward to that. That has been our yearly tradition since 1993. We missed last year due to weather:grumble: This weekend we will be taking down Christmas decorations, which will take me all weekend plus some. I'll talk to y'all next week. Have a safe and Happy New Year!

I haven't been so good myself. Tomorrow we are hosting a fondue party, I am pretty sure there is nothing healthy at a fondue party. Oh well, planning on getting backto the straight and narrow after the new year.

Sorry I didn't send my weight this week - because I did not want to get on the scales. I have a New Year's Eve dinner tonight and I am hostng a family dnner tomorrow. I am really going to try to at least have maintained for the next weigh-in.

I feel I am up a few pounds though. I promised myself no peaking/weighing until after these 2 dinners and then start fresh for the new year.

    Happy New Year everyone.

Jack - I really appreciate the chart. It keeps me conscience of weight changes (sometimes)!!!

Missed weigh in today. It was the first day back after Christmas vacation and the kids were pretty good, considering. Oh well, I didn't lose or gain anyway! Hope everyone has a great week!
