Do you see changes progressively or at once?

Every time I've tried losing weight (used to be unhealthily, now I'm doing it the right way), first of all I never lose at the rate of 1 lb/week. I always lose somewhere between 1.5-2 pounds per month. Another interesting thing that I notice is that the changes in my body happen all at once every few months. For example, I have been consistently working out for about 5 months. From January to March, no one noticed any changes in me, I looked just the same. I saw my family both months, and nothing. However, they just saw me today after 3-4 weeks without seeing each other, and they think I lost a ton of weight on this last month. I am happy about my progress this isn't complaining at all, I'm just wondering if someone also has this similar experience. You can work out for months, but at some point, there's like 1 or 2 nights where your body shrinks.

I see a big change at first, then it is slowly progressive.0

I think its because there's little changes every day that you hardly notice until suddening you realize your clothes don't fit anymore. Then you really look and see yourself differently.0
